Machine Build Readiness Coordinator

Required Education: High School Diploma

Required Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of experience with taking inventory and reviewing incoming parts
  • Shipping/Receiving
  • Light Mechanical knowledge/aptitude
  • Attention to detail with reviewing Parts to Prints
  • Experience with managing multiple projects
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel
  • Effective communication skills and ability to coordinate across teams
  • Mechanically inclined with general technical understanding

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Basic familiarity with SolidWorks (preferred)
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively
  • Able to perform occasional physically demanding tasks, including lifting and material handling

Position Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Machine Build Readiness Coordinator to support machine design and assembly operations. This role is responsible for receiving, organizing, and preparing materials, as well as coordinating between teams to ensure all required components and documentation are available and accurate.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Manage Commercial purchase parts/ check parts in/ parts inventory
  • Review prints with incoming Parts
  • Receive and check in COTS (Commercial Off-The-Shelf) parts and custom machine components
  • Monitor and track the status of outstanding parts to ensure timely availability
  • Consolidate and stage COTS and machined components in preparation for assembly
  • Obtain, print, and organize required documentation (e.g., TLAs, schematics, work instructions)
  • Act as a liaison between technicians, the machine shop, and requesters to resolve issues such as incorrect, missing, or delayed parts
  • Package, crate, and pallet completed kits for shipment
  • Notify requesters upon completion and readiness for delivery
