Requirements

• Entry-level candidates encouraged to apply

• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment

Job Duties

• Assist with the operation of machines that manufacture cardboard boxes
• Manually feed cardboard into production equipment as needed
• Monitor machine operation and report issues to supervisors
• Maintain production quality standards
• Assist with material handling and movement of finished products
• Keep work areas clean and organized
• Follow all food-grade manufacturing requirements and safety procedures

Physical Capabilities

• Steel-toed shoes required
• Casual work attire and shorts permitted
• No jewelry, fake nails, or fake eyelashes permitted due to food-grade manufacturing requirements
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive production tasks throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift materials, components, or finished products weighing up to 50 pounds.

What You Will Do

As a Machine Assistant you will operate, monitor, adjust, and maintain manufacturing equipment to produce quality products according to production schedules and established procedures. You will inspect finished products, replenish materials, identify equipment issues, perform routine machine checks, maintain production records, and support safe, efficient manufacturing operations.

The Machine Assistant plays an important role in manufacturing by operating equipment that supports efficient production and consistent product quality. This position requires mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to monitor equipment throughout the production process.

Successful Machine Assistant candidates understand manufacturing procedures, quality standards, and safe operating practices while helping maintain reliable production performance. Consistent execution contributes directly to operational success.
