Job Summary
We are seeking experienced Machine Maintenance Adjusters to join our manufacturing team in Forest City, NC. This position is responsible for performing machine adjustments, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical issues, and supporting production operations to minimize downtime. The ideal candidate has a strong mechanical background, enjoys problem-solving, and thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform machine adjustments to maintain efficient production and product quality
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues on manufacturing equipment
- Perform preventative maintenance according to established schedules
- Inspect machinery to identify potential maintenance concerns before equipment failure occurs
- Assist with equipment setup, changeovers, and operational adjustments
- Document maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency
- Follow all company safety policies and maintenance procedures
- Perform additional maintenance duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2+ years of machine maintenance experience preferred
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Experience working with manufacturing or production equipment
- Ability to perform machine adjustments and preventative maintenance
- Knowledge of mechanical repairs and maintaining production efficiency
- Ability to read and interpret maintenance manuals, work instructions, and equipment documentation
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced setting
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience maintaining automated manufacturing equipment
- Basic electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic troubleshooting experience
- Previous experience in an industrial or production manufacturing environment
- Technical training or maintenance certifications are a plus
