M&O PROJECT MANAGER- Duties- (1) Manage, oversee, and coordinate all facets of the pre-construction, bid and award, construction, and close-out phases of commercial/public/educational facility projects with a value of up to $2M+, (2) Review blueprints and other pre-construction documents, (3) Coordinate with public agencies and District/project staff on off-site work and code/DSA compliance, (4) Coordinate bid packages, (5) Evaluate bids, verify contractor licenses/bonds, and analyze costs, (6) Submit award recommendations, execute contracts, and issue Notice to Proceed, (7) Manage project budget and schedule, (8) Manage contractor daily activities, review construction schedules, submittals, and substitution requests, (9) Coordinate responses to Requests for Clarification (RFCs), (10) Review and negotiate Contractor Change Order Proposals, (11) Review and monitor payments to contractors, architects, and engineers, (12) Administer Professional Service Agreements and coordinate delivery of fixtures, furniture, and equipment, and (13) Monitor and manage project close-out with respect to project certification with the Division of State Architects (DSA) and project financial close out.
Requirements: MS Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management;
Salary: $112,000 yr;
