Job Title - M&A Finance Project Manager
Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid)/Open For remote for best candidate
Duration: 6 months plus extensions
Pay Rate Range: -$60-70 /hr

M&A Experience Must have and needed in resume. 

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years project coordination/PMO support, ideally with exposure to JV, M&A, or Capital Markets transactions
• Advanced Smartsheet and Excel skills
• Strong written communications, ensuring clear, concise information
• Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently, with shifting priorities and timelines as projects evolve
• Demonstrated initiative and ability to work independently
• Strong focus on deadlines, ability to prioritize and recognition of critical success factors
• Experience in a fast-paced environment, with tight deadlines
• Ability to work with incomplete or partial information while maintaining progress on deliverables
• Experience handling confidential information
• Experience building report automation desirable
• Experience working in a global environment desirable

• Project tracking & governance mechanics
• Maintain project plans, identifying and highlighting dependencies; risk registers; decision and action logs using available tools.
• Identify schedule challenges, dependency conflicts, and resourcing gaps to project leadership as required
• Reporting & documentation
• Prepare status updates, team reports, and other reports as identified
• Prepare meeting notes and action item trackers from project meetings
• Use and maintain PMO automation tooling (Excel data models, Power Automate)
• Due diligence support
• Coordinate Due Diligence Q&A, document collection, and tracking across financial, tax, legal, and operational workstreams
• Cross-functional coordination
• Track action items across Legal, Treasury, Tax, Controllership, and Technical Accounting, ensuring delivery from teams in a timely fashion
• Coordinate document reviews across functions
