Director, Origination & M&A Advisory | Building Services
Location: Philadelphia, PA or West Palm Beach, FL
Company Overview:
We are currently partnered with a growing independent middle-market M&A advisory firm looking to add a Origination & M&A Advisory leader to help scale its Building Services and Building Products practice. This opportunity is ideal for a transaction-oriented professional who thrives on developing relationships, sourcing opportunities, and helping drive M&A activity across founder-owned, private equity-backed, and privately held businesses. The role offers the opportunity to play a direct role in the growth of an established advisory platform with significant long-term upside.
This M&A Advisor will be responsible for:
- Developing and maintaining relationships with founders, executives, private equity investors, investment bankers, and key industry participants.
- Identifying, sourcing, and originating new M&A advisory opportunities.
- Expanding the firm's presence across the Building Services and Building Products sectors.
- Winning new advisory mandates and helping grow the firm's client base.
- Partnering closely with the firm's execution team to successfully bring transactions through closing.
- Contributing to the continued growth of the firm's origination and business development platform.
Ideal Experience:
- 5+ years of relevant experience.
- Background in Private Equity, Investment Banking, M&A Advisory, or Origination.
- Proven track record of developing relationships, sourcing opportunities, and generating deal flow.
- Exposure to Building Services, Building Products, Business Services, Construction, or Industrials.
- Strong relationships with founders, owners, executives, private equity firms, and transaction professionals.
- Experience evaluating, sourcing, or executing middle-market transactions.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a desire to help grow a business and participate in its long-term success.
