Position Title Lyceum Café Lead - Lyceum Café Job Description
- Must be available 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.
- This is a part time, 10-month position (August-May). Position works an average of 34 hrs. per week.
- Hands-on position assisting the Lyceum Café Manager with daily production needs for our customers.
- Production of multiple specialty coffee drinks.
- Assist with ordering, stocking, monitoring food quality and sanitation of the facility.
- Maintain register and balancing of the cash drawer daily.
- Monitor student labor and hours.
- Assist manager with any scheduling needs.
- Part-time position includes prorated vacation leave, sick leave, and holiday pay only.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma.
- Previous barista experience.
- Food Safety certified or state certified in food protection/Level 2 or willing to certify.
- Efficient with math and Excel.
- Applicant must be currently authorized to work in the United States. Ashland University will not sponsor or take over sponsorship for an employment visa.
Preferred Qualifications
- Provide a high level of customer service.
- Ability to problem solve on the fly.
Physical Demands
- On your feet most of the day with the exception of the limited administrative duties.
