Position: Non-Instructional Paraeducator Date Posted: 9/1/2026 Location: Keith Elementary Date Available: 26-27 School Year

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 11:30am - 1:30pm 2 average daily hours, 10 average weekly hours

Classification A Paraeducator New Hire Starting Rate of Pay: $16.74

QUALIFICATIONS AND DUTIES:

  • Ability to relate well with children
  • Patience but firmness
  • Assist students with needs during lunch periods
  • Clean tables and spills as needed
  • Maintain respect of students
  • Provide supervision at all times, ensuring a safe environment
  • Handle inter-student conflicts by applying verbal reasoning, or if this fails, notifying building principal
  • Administer first aid for minor injuries and alert office of major injuries
  • Fill out appropriate discipline and injury reports
  • Provide appropriate climate to establish and reinforce acceptable student behavior, attitudes and social skills
  • Cooperate and seek assistance from other professional staff members Human Resources
