Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team at Delta Center Elementary as a Lunch Aide from 11:30 am until 1:30 pm. This part-time position plays a crucial role in ensuring a safe, enjoyable, and efficient lunchtime experience for our students. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and a commitment to fostering a positive school environment.
Responsibilities
- Supervise students during lunch periods, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Assist in the distribution of meals and snacks, ensuring compliance with dietary guidelines.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the lunch area, including tables and serving stations.
- Encourage positive social interactions among students and assist with conflict resolution as needed.
- Monitor student behavior, ensuring adherence to school rules and policies.
- Support students with special needs, providing assistance as required.
- Communicate effectively with teachers, staff, and parents regarding student concerns or incidents.
- Participate in training and professional development opportunities as required.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience working with children in a school or childcare setting is a plus.
