The Lumber Yard Worker and Driver is responsible for providing excellent customer service while safely loading a customer’s vehicle with products purchased from Ace Hardware. The products should be loaded safely and efficiently while being a positive representative of Bolster’s Ace Hardware.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.
Other duties may be assigned by management.
- Loading and unloading delivery trucks and verifying that the paperwork is accurate and complete.
- Keeping the Work Yard clean and safe from hazards.
- Greet customers throughout the store and Yard.
- Thank customers when finished and when they are leaving the store.
- Possess a friendly outgoing demeanor, work well with customers as well as associates.
- Operate forklift with proper training and certification.
- Assist in creating a positive, professional, and safe working environment.
- Possess a strong knowledge of the yard inventory and location.
- Assist customers throughout the location providing customized service with the intention of amazing every customer every time.
Physical Demands
- Lifting weights up to 90 lbs.

- Ability to work on your feet for long periods of time.
