As a Lumber Production Worker, your role will be essential in the hands-on processing of dimensional lumber. Youll work to maintain a safe, organized environment while contributing to efficient production processes. What Youll Do
As a Lumber Production Worker, you will be responsible for:
- Removing lumber, glulam beams, or wood components from production equipment
- Separating finished products by size, length, grade, or customer specifications
- Inspecting lumber for defects, damage, or quality concerns
- Handling long lengths of lumber safely and efficiently
- Understanding and following Glue Report procedures
- Learning clamp pressure, lay-up, lock-ups, and setting camber jigs
- Notifying supervisors of any quality issues immediately
- Staying alert at all times during duties
- Operating air guns and hand tools as needed
- Following Lock-out/Tag-out procedures for safety
What Youll Bring The ideal candidate for this role will have:
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs; physical conditioning is necessary for this very physical role
- Fundamental understanding of lam beam lay-ups
- Effective communication skills with team members and supervisors
- Teamwork mentality and a safety-first attitude
- Willingness to fill in on off-shifts and overtime as required

Location & Schedule: This position is on-site in Eugene, Oregon, working overnight shifts from 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM, Monday through Friday. Flexibility for overtime and off-shift work is required as needed.
