About the role

We are searching for an experienced Lubrication Technician Maintenance (Day Worker) to join our McKay Team based in the OJI Kinleith Site in Tokoroa, Waikato. The purpose of this position is to support machinery maintenance and condition monitoring, provide accurate reporting, and ensure that all maintenance activities meet required standards to optimize overall equipment efficiency.

To be considered you will need to hold the following: -

  • Mobius Institute FLCAT (Field Lubrication Category) Machinery Lubrication Technician CAT 1-3, or equivalent. Or is training towards these qualifications
  • NZ Cert Mechanical Engineering Trade / Level 4, Maintenance Engineering or, Fitting and Machining strand, or equivalent, is preferred

OR

  • Apprenticed in Mechanical or Allied trade, unqualified. Extensive Relevant Industry and machinery experience.

In addition, we are looking for candidates with the following attributes:

  • Works well autonomously and within a team environment
  • 3 years + experience in an industrial manufacturing environment
  • Details focused with ability to participate in route cause analysis and contribute to the outcome
  • Working knowledge of Health and Safety principles
  • Strong computer (MS Office applications), written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to perform analysis on lubrication data and provide improvement recommendations
  • A solution-focused attitude

This role is permanent full-time (42.5 hours per week) positions and is paid at an hourly rate of $36.00 per hour. Any additional hours worked over above your contracted hours, will be paid at overtime rates.
