Position Summary
West Point Ford & Chevy is seeking a motivated and dependable Lube & Tire Technician to join our service team. This position is ideal for someone looking to build a long-term career in the automotive industry while working in a fast-paced dealership environment.
The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently with a team while delivering high-quality service to customers.
Responsibilities
- Perform oil changes, fluid services, and preventive maintenance inspections
- Mount, balance, and rotate tires
- Inspect brakes, suspension, steering, and tire wear conditions
- Maintain accurate repair orders and inspection documentation
- Keep shop areas clean and organized
- Assist service technicians with general shop duties as needed
- Follow all safety procedures and dealership policies
- Communicate effectively with service advisors and management regarding vehicle conditions
Qualifications
- Automotive or mechanical experience preferred but not required
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in a shop environment
- Strong attendance and punctuality
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Schedule
- Full-time
- Monday–Friday with occasional Saturdays
