Lube Technician

Pay: $18-$20 flat rate

Schedule: We ask that you have open availability to support dealership operations and customer demand. To be successful in this role, you will be available to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as these are peak business periods and important opportunities for maximizing earnings.

Service Department Hours: Monday-Friday 7 am to 6 pm, 8 am to 5 pm Saturday, closed Sunday.

This position is located onsite in Spokane WA and reports to the Service Manager.

We're looking for Entry Level Automotive Technicians to join our busy service team. This is an opportunity to learn and contribute to this dealership's overall success while gaining new industry skills.

What You'll Do

• Align with company programs and benchmarks. Champion one another's growth to achieve more together.
• Provide a professional and welcoming first impression of Camp Chevrolet.
• Perform minor maintenance, e.g., changing engine oil and filters.
• Perform complete vehicle maintenance inspection including tires, brakes, and all fluid levels.
• Communicate appropriate customer vehicle maintenance recommendations to the service advisor.
• Complete multi-point inspections and video walkarounds
• Road-test vehicles to verify quality of work
• Stay current on required OEM and manufacturer training

What You'll Bring

• Basic mechanical understanding of an automobile.
• 1+years of experience as an express/quick lube technician or completion of an accredited automotive program.
• Comfort in operating several types of cars, light trucks, and vans, with an ability to drive both manual and automatic transmissions.
• Comfort in navigating computer and dealership technologies.
• Willingness to participate in professional development opportunities.
• Adept to handle high-volume and adapt to our needs.
• Have a desire to grow with us in this automotive industry
• A team player who is focused on providing great customer service.
• Acceptable driving record and a valid driver's license in your state of residence.

Total Rewards

The flat rate earning range for this role is $18-$20 per flagged hour. This is a flat rate position that is also eligible for short-term and/or long-term incentives as part of total compensation.

Actual pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge, and physical location. Final compensation will be established through the interview process in accordance with applicable pay equity and transparency laws.
