LTS French Teacher TANTASQUA JR. HIGH SCHOOL School Year - 2026-2027 Start Date: August 31, 2026

Reports to: Principal

Responsibilities: The High School French/World Language Teacher is responsible for delivering high-quality instruction in foreign languages and culture, fostering students' proficiency in speaking, listening, reading, and writing.

Job Goal:

  • Provide instructional programs that promote student's development of skill and knowledge in the content area assigned.
  • To help students learn subject matter and skills that will contribute to their education
  • To promote class environment favorable to learning and student's personal growth
  • To establish effective rapport with pupils to develop the skills, attitudes, and knowledge necessary to become successful individuals in accordance with each pupil's ability
  • To establish positive relationships with parents/ guardians and staff members

Qualifications:

  • A teaching license issued by the State of Massachusetts appropriate for this content area and grade level 9-12 preferred
  • Demonstrated expertise in specific instructional content area, as assigned
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Approved CORI and Fingerprinting results

Salary Range: $57,005.00
