RN/LPN NEEDED – SCHOOL BUS NURSE

Interim Healthcare is looking for a compassionate RN or LPN to provide one-on-one nursing care for a special needs child while riding the school bus to and from school.
This is a rewarding opportunity for a nurse who enjoys working with children and wants to make a meaningful difference in a child’s day!
* WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Provide one-on-one nursing care for a child with special healthcare needs
- Ride the school bus with the child to and from school
- Monitor the child's condition throughout transportation
- Provide medications and treatments as ordered
- Assist with medical equipment and specialized needs
- Respond appropriately to changes in the child's condition
- Communicate with the family, school staff, and healthcare team
- Help ensure the child has a safe, comfortable, and positive school experience
* WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Current Kansas RN or LPN license
- Current BLS certification
- Pediatric or home health experience preferred
- Experience caring for medically complex children is a plus
- Reliable, compassionate, and patient
- Comfortable working independently with a child
- Strong communication and safety skills
