    Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) / Registered Nurse (RN)/ Nurse Care Manager

    Location: Independence, MO & Kanas City, MO

    Department: Psychiatric Clinics, Behavioral Crisis Center (Rapid Access Unit), Recovery Services, Health Care Home

    Employment Type: Full-Time

    Shifts: Days, Overnight, and Weekends (subject to availability)

    In these roles, you will provide direct nursing care and care coordination services for individuals experiencing mental health and substance use challenges. You will assess healthcare needs, administer medications, support treatment planning, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, provide education to clients and families, and promote high-quality, person-centered care.     Key Responsibilities:

    • Provide compassionate nursing care and support to individuals receiving behavioral health and substance use disorder services
    • Assess clients' physical and emotional health needs and contribute to individualized treatment planning
    • Administer medications and monitor client progress, responses to treatment, and overall wellbeing
    • Collaborate with physicians, therapists, case managers, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care
    • Educate clients and family members about mental health conditions, treatment options, medications, and self-care strategies
    • Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary teams regarding client status, concerns, and treatment recommendations
    • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with organizational and regulatory standards
    • Promote a safe, supportive, and recovery-oriented environment that respects the dignity and individuality of each client

    Education, Experience, and/or Credential Qualifications:

    • Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Missouri
    • Ability to provide nursing services in accordance with professional standards of practice
    • Experience working with individuals experiencing mental health and/or substance use disorders preferred

    • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary treatment team
