    Malone Medical Practices at University of Vermont Health – Alice Hyde Medical Center is a primary care clinic. We use a team-based approach to deliver high-quality care. Work alongside primary care providers who perform routine check-ups, well-care appointments and coordinate care and referrals to specialists.

    Responsibilities:

    • The Licensed Practical Nurse shall be accountable and responsible for performing tasks and responsibilities within the framework of case finding, health teaching, health counseling, provision of supportive and restorative care, administering medication(s), and provide nursing treatment under the direction of a registered nurse, licensed physician or other health care provider.
    • LPN shall be responsible for: Monitoring that Plan of Care is being followed by clinical staff under their supervision; Supervise certified nurse aides or unlicensed assistive personnel.
    • Provide supervision, coordination, and evaluation of assigned unit health care team and services.

    This is a bargaining union position.
