    Westminster Canterbury of Lynchburg, a 5-star-rated Continuing Care Retirement Community in Central VA, is seeking n LPN Medication Nurse to join our team! Full-time, day shift (7A-7P) position available with a complete benefits package including Medical, Dental, Vision, Paid Time Off, 403B with match, and more.

    • Prepares, administers, and records prescribed medications as administered.
    • Records all care information concisely, accurately, and completely in a timely manner.
    • Administers medications, treatments, IV's, catheters, and obtains blood samples as necessary.
    • Evaluates nursing care with emphasis on medication administration, prescribed treatments, and patient responses; consults with supervisory nurse in the establishment of short-term and long-range goals for patients.
    • Reports adverse reactions of medications and/or treatments in accordance with facility policies and procedures. 
    • Provides bedside care for a wide variety of patients. 
    • Participates in discharge planning as needed. 
    Requirements:
    • A valid unencumbered Virginia LPN license
    • Two to three years of experience working in a skilled setting preferred
