The Staff Pad has partnered with a reputed hospital in Manchester; TN, and we are looking for compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurses to join our Med Surg team.<\/span>
<\/p>

This role offers the opportunity to provide exceptional patient care while working alongside a collaborative healthcare team in a fast -paced environment.<\/span>

What You’ll Do<\/span>
<\/p>

Key Responsibilities<\/span>
<\/p>

  • Perform patient assessments, reassessments, and provide age -appropriate, patient -centered care under RN supervision<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Assess, manage, and educate patients on pain; monitor cardiac rhythms, dysrhythmias and recognize changes in patient status; perform and interpret point -of -care testing per unit policies<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Administer medications and IV therapy safely while following the 5 medication rights and established protocols<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Maintain accurate documentation, educate patients and families, and communicate effectively with the care team<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to achieve quality outcomes and support unit operations through mentoring and staff training<\/span>
    <\/li><\/ul>

    What We Are Looking For<\/span>
    <\/p>

    Qualifications<\/span>
    <\/p>

    • Graduate of an accredited LPN program & Current Tennessee LPN license + BLS certification<\/span>
      <\/li>
    • One year of hospital experience preferred<\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Ability to interpret EKGs, lab results, and clinical data; Basic computer skills<\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Strong written and verbal English communication skills; additional languages preferred<\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Ability to lift 50 lbs. or more & stand and walk for extended periods<\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Reliable attendance, dependability & flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed<\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Ability to thrive in a fast -paced environment<\/span>
      <\/li><\/ul>
