Job Description

Spectrum Healthcare Resources along with Team Health has an excellent opportunity for a Licensed Professional Nurse (LPN) in Zanesville, Ohio.The LPN will be providing Correctional Medical care for those housed at the Muskingum County Jail.

 

Position Highlights:

• Part-time, 1-3 shifts weekly
• We staff from  7a-7p Monday thru Friday and on the weekends.
• Adult population

 

 

Job Duties:

• Provide a range of medical care to include primary, addiction, urgent and behavioral health care
• Free from coding, billing, insurance, satisfaction surveys, ICD-10 and DRGS
• Care is evidence based. We address needs, not wants
• Vast array of medical pathology that is not seen in any one other healthcare location
• Work is socially meaningful as patients are a socially marginalized and lack ordinary access to medical care whether due to lack of insurance, mental illness or homelessness (**for anyone interested in addiction medicine or mental health)
• Large degree of medical autonomy and free of micromanaging. Extensive nursing guidelines in place.

Position Requirements:

• Graduate of a school of practical or vocational nursing approved by a state agency or accredited by the ACEN
• A minimum of 12 months of experience in a primary care setting within the last 24 months
• Active, unrestricted OH LPN license
• BLS from the American Heart Association
