Job Description:

The role involves working in an outpatient clinic with a focus on medical oncology, chemotherapy infusion, hematology, and BMT pre- and post-transplant care. It requires recent, relevant oncology experience and proficiency with EPIC Ambulatory.

Responsibilities:

• Rooming patients; vital signs, review of systems, medication reconciliation, weight
• Obtaining orders; processing patients for infusions
• Chaperoning for provider with exams and procedures
• Chart checks and setup for procedures
• Reviewing referrals and supporting department activities

Requirements:

• Must have 1.5 years of nursing experience, including 1 year in Oncology
• Be currently certified in BLS
• Completion of an approved nursing education program
• Experience with EPIC Ambulatory and clinic operations is required
• Travelers must live more than 100 miles away from the facility
