General Summary
Under the supervision of a RN or provider, the LPN uses sound nursing judgment in the provision of nursing care. Performs a variety of both technical and routine nursing services. Collaborates with health care teams to implement the nursing care plan. Demonstrates clinical competence.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Currently in last semester of or graduated from an accredited LPN program.
- Effective written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to problem-solve.
- Critical thinking skills and judgment necessary in the delivery of patient care.
- Knowledge about the care of neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Basic computer knowledge.
CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURES REQUIRED:
- MI LPN License or if graduate nurse, LPN License within 90 days of hire Current BLS or obtained during Patient Care Orientation
