Schedule Shift: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM Position Summary The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is responsible for supervising daily nursing activities and ensuring residents receive high-quality, compassionate care. Working under the direction of the Assistant Director of Nursing and Director of Nursing, the LPN helps maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations while promoting the health, safety, and well-being of our residents. Key Responsibilities - Supervise and coordinate day-to-day nursing activities and direct care staff
- Deliver quality nursing care in accordance with resident assessments and individualized care plans
- Monitor residents' conditions and promptly report changes to appropriate healthcare professionals
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and facility policies
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members
- Provide leadership, guidance, and support to nursing assistants and other staff
- Assist in maintaining a safe, comfortable, and caring environment for residents
Qualifications - Graduate of an accredited nursing program or approved Licensed Practical/Vocational Nursing program
- Current, active, and unencumbered LPN license in the state of practice
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a hospital, nursing facility, long-term care setting, or related healthcare environment preferred
- Strong clinical, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Commitment to providing exceptional resident-centered care
