Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Pay: $35.00 per hour
Schedule: Full-Time

About the Position
Myland Homecare is seeking a compassionate, dependable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide one-on-one skilled nursing care in our clients' homes throughout our Georgia service area. This position offers the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with clients while providing high-quality nursing care in a home setting. WE WILL TRAIN NEW GRADUATES
Responsibilities
- Provide skilled nursing care under the direction of the Registered Nurse.
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
- Monitor and document client condition, vital signs, and changes in health status.
- Perform wound care, catheter care, ostomy care, and other nursing procedures within the LPN scope of practice.
- Collect specimens and assist with laboratory testing as ordered.
- Maintain accurate electronic documentation.
- Communicate with physicians, families, and the healthcare team.
- Follow physician orders and individualized care plans.
- Ensure compliance with agency policies, infection control, and HIPAA requirements.
- Supervise Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) when assigned by the RN or Administrator.
- Participate in staff meetings and required training.
Qualifications
- Current Georgia LPN license in good standing.
- Current CPR certification.
- Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance.
- Minimum one year of nursing experience preferred but will train new graduates.
- Home care, skilled nursing, or long-term care experience is a plus.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check, fingerprinting, and drug screening.
