    Job Requisition: LPN00001950

    Employment Type: Full-Time

    Shift: Evening

    Hours Per Week: 36 hour/week

    Hiring Range: $25.50/hr. - 31.88/hr. 

    Starting Rate: $28.05/hr. 

    The posted pay range contains differentials. Below are the shift differentials based on eligible shifts worked:

    • Weekday evening shift - additional 10%
    • Weekday night shift - additional 15%
    • Weekend day shift - additional 10%
    • Weekend evening & night shifts - additional 21%

    The actual compensation for this position will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.

    Responsibilities:

    • Contributes to the assessment of patients and assures the well-being of
    • Administers medications and observes patients for adverse reactions to medications or
    • Performs laboratory tests and therapeutic
    • Educates patients/families about disease treatment plan including self care post discharge, holistic health needs, available resources and follow up care.

    Complexity of Work:

    • Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment..

    Personal Protective Equipment:

    • Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required. 

    Minimum Qualifications:

    Licensure/Certification/Registration:

    • Required Credential(s):
      • BLS Provider obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer
      • Practical/Vocational Nurse credentialed from the New York Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

    Education:

    • Graduate of a nursing education program registered by NYSED as license qualifying for LPN.
