Job Purpose:

• The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients. This role involves working with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure the delivery of comprehensive behavioral health services. The LPN will utilize their expertise to support patient care plans, administer medications, and monitor patient progress in a compassionate and professional manner.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care to patients in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
• Monitor and document patient vital signs and report any significant changes to the nursing supervisor or physician.
• Assist in the development and implementation of individualized patient care plans.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.
• Educate patients and their families about health conditions and treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate and timely medical records and documentation.
• Ensure a safe and therapeutic environment for patients and staff.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and comply with regulatory standards.
