This is a tremendous opportunity for a motivated person.Low Voltage TechnicianPower Limited Technician PLTEmployment Type Full-TimeAbout the PositionNAC is seeking an experienced Journeyman Limited Energy Installation Technician to install test troubleshoot and service low-voltage systems throughout commercial industrial healthcare educational and multi-family facilities. The ideal candidate has strong technical skills works independently and is able to learn new systems. This is a Union position.ResponsibilitiesInstall and service fire alarm access control CCTV intrusion alarm and structured cabling systems.Read and interpret plans riser diagrams and specifications.Perform device terminations testing commissioning and troubleshooting.Ensure installations comply with Minnesota code requirements NEC NFPA 72 and project specifications.Complete project documentation testing reports and as-built drawings.Coordinate with customers contractors inspectors and project managers.Maintain a safe and professional work environment.QualificationsMinnesota Power Limited Technician PLT License 4 years of low-voltage or limited energy installation experience.Experience with fire alarm security access control CCTV and data cabling systems.Ability to work independently and lead installation projects.Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.Valid drivers license and acceptable driving record.Ability to lift 50 lbs. climb ladders and work on active construction sites.Preferred CertificationsNICET Fire Alarm CertificationOSHA 10 or OSHA 30Manufacturer certifications Honeywell Lenel Genetec Avigilon etc.What We OfferUnion Wage Scale range of 38.38 to 57.37 per hour depending on experience licensescertificates and Union skillsknowledge assessmentCompany vehicle and tools if applicableEligible for our Employee Stock Purchase Plan ESPP EEO StatementAPi Group is an equal opportunity employer.
