NextGen Technologies has been doing commercial fire protection and low-voltage in the Savannah market for 20+ years. Were hiring an experienced Low Voltage Technician for our commercial crew: fire alarm, access control, CCTV, intrusion, structured cabling. If youve been pulling and terminating on commercial jobsites, we want to talk.
What youll do
Install and service low-voltage systems: fire alarm, access control, CCTV, intrusion, structured cabling Pull, terminate, and test cabling (CAT5e/6, plenum, J-hooks, ladder tray) Mount and program devices Run service calls and troubleshoot system issues Work off prints and coordinate with GCs and electricians on commercial jobs
What we need
3+ years hands-on commercial low-voltage experience Fire alarm experience preferred. Well cross-train if youve got the wiring fundamentals. NICET I preferred. Not required. Well pay for you to get it. Valid GA drivers license and clean MVR Comfortable on ladders, lifts, ceilings, and attics
