Low Slope Commercial Roofing Specialist

ABC Supply, North America's largest distributor of exterior and interior building products, is seeking an experienced, motivated Product Specialist to join its team. This position will specialize in Low Slope Commercial Roofing products.

Specific duties may include:

• Determining customers' needs and recommending appropriate products and solutions
• Following a product/supply checklist for each customer's job and up-selling additional products and supplies
• Provide new construction and remodel bids to contractors and builders determined by blueprints
• Answering telephones and entering sales orders
• Providing material layouts and completing take offs
• Accepting payment and applying it to the appropriate customer account
• Coordinating customer pick-ups with the warehouse
• Following up on deliveries to ensure materials arrived on time with all items accounted for
• Reordering products to keep the store and warehouse shelves well stocked
• Addressing and resolving service concerns, should they arise

Specific qualifications include:

• Previous experience in commercial roofing sales is strongly preferred
• Commercial roofing systems knowledge (TPO, PVC, EPDM, Coatings, etc.)
• Experience with onscreen estimating tools is a plus (Tapered plus, Bluebeam, On Screen takeoff, etc.)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Effective time management and prioritization skills
• Basic computer skills
• Positive attitude and team player
• Detail and service-oriented
