Baptist Health Lexington is hiring a BC/BE Inpatient General Neurologist to join an inpatient Neurology group in Lexington, KY.

• 7 on 7 off schedule
• 2 Neurologists and 1 APRN
• Physicians and APRN typically take two night calls per 7-day shift
• Coverage consists of 7 consecutive days of inpatient service. An APP (Advanced Practice Provider) assists with rounding and consults Monday through Friday,
• The physician covers independently on Saturday and Sunday.
• Would like the physicians to preform lumbar punctures
• Inpatient neurology patient population consists primarily of adults with seizure disorders, encephalopathy, neurological emergencies, neurodegenerative diseases, and other acute or chronic neurological conditions requiring hospital-based evaluation and management
• Opportunity for inpatient/outpatient hybrid role if interested.

The physician will work collaboratively with two additional neurology partners within the hospital, creating a supportive team-based environment. This structure allows for ongoing collaboration, shared clinical expertise, and peer support to help ensure high-quality patient care and physician satisfaction. The physician will also have access to colleagues for consultation and assistance as needed throughout their service week.
