LONG TERM SUBSTITUTE ANNOUNCEMENT

POSITION: Elementary Teacher - 3rd Grade LOCATION: Quarton

SALARY: Long-term substitute rate POSTING DATE: September 17, 2026

DEADLINE: Until filled

SCHEDULE: Into February, 2027 START DATE: October 29, 2026

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Valid Michigan Teaching Certificate
• Previous teaching experience preferred
• Ability to work effectively and collaboratively with students, parents and staff
• Strong communication, technology and organizational skills
• Knowledge of instructional strategies that are successful with students with varying learning needs

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Attention to the individual needs of students and development of responsible learners
• Short and long-term planning and organization for the benefit of the student
• Standards of behavior that serve as models for students
• Other duties assigned by school principal/building administrators
• Supports and implements district initiatives
• Pursue and participate in continuous professional development
