DESCRIPTIVE STATEMENT
OF POSITION:
- Engages students in both team sports and individual activities, while explaining the safe and correct way to engage in physical fitness.
- Teaches social interaction skills as students learn and work together in the Physical Education setting.
- Plans instruction that motivates and excites the students while emphasizing the importance of life-long physical activity and awareness of self.
- Teaches the PE standards from the Massachusetts curriculum framework with regard to national PE standards.
- Recognizes and differentiates instruction that meets the needs of all students and abilities.
- Follow the Health lessons plan put forth by the educator.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Massachusetts Certification in Elementary Physical Education preferred
SALARY:
$236.84 per day
