Assists certificated staff in reinforcing instruction to individual or small groups of students in a classroom environment, and provides routine support. Depending on assignment, may also provide for supervision of special needs students on school buses or during transport; may attend to student health needs, including toileting and administration of certain medical procedures only as allowed and instructed by the school nurse; and may provide for other one-on-one support for student instructional activities.
