Long-Term Substitute Kindergarten Teacher

Long-Term Substitute for 1 FTE Kindergarten Teacher Position. Starting November 2nd and going through mid March.

The successful candidate will:

• Plan and deliver engaging, standards-based instruction aligned with district curriculum.
• Provide instruction in all subjects, including but not limited to reading, writing, mathematics, science, and social studies.
• Establish a positive, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment.
• Build strong, trusting relationships with students and families.
• Use student data and formative assessments to monitor progress and adjust instruction.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse academic, social, and emotional needs of all learners.
• Implement effective classroom management strategies and maintain high expectations for student behavior and learning.
• Collaborate with grade-level teammates, specialists, special education staff, and other school personnel.
• Communicate regularly and effectively with parents/guardians regarding student progress and needs.
• Support students in developing independence, responsibility, problem-solving skills, and positive character.
• Participate in professional learning and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
• Maintain accurate student records, grades, assessment information, and required documentation.
• Create a classroom environment that encourages curiosity, creativity, collaboration, and a love of learning.
• Demonstrate flexibility, professionalism, dependability, and a willingness to contribute positively to the school community.

Appropriate Wisconsin State Certification - 1088/1083 Elementary/Middle Level Education or 1777 Regular Education
