    The Long-Term Care Administrator is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the Long-Term Care Center, including daily operations, resident care services, regulatory compliance, budgeting, staffing, quality assurance, and business operations. This leadership role ensures the delivery of high-quality resident care while maintaining compliance with federal, state, tribal, and organizational standards.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Direct and manage all facility operations and resident care services.
    • Oversee environmental, operational, and administrative functions of the facility.
    • Lead hiring, training, and development of staff.
    • Supervise medical, nursing, technical, clerical, social services, activities, volunteer, and support staff.
    • Develop and maintain policies, procedures, and operational standards in compliance with regulatory requirements.
    • Prepare, administer, and monitor departmental and facility budgets.
    • Prepare reports for executive leadership, governing boards, and regulatory agencies.
    • Coordinate with clinical teams to ensure resident care plans are followed.
    • Ensure staff compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory training requirements.
    • Implement and oversee quality assurance and resident safety programs.
    • Manage revenue cycle operations, including billing and reimbursement activities.
    • Participate in meetings with staff, families, governing bodies, insurance providers, Medicare, and Medicaid representatives.

    Required Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field.
    • Minimum of five (5) years of Long-Term Care experience.
    • Active Nursing Home Administrator (NHA) License.
    • Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations and long-term care operations.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Master of Healthcare Administration (MHA) or Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a healthcare focus.
    • Experience with budgeting, strategic planning, and healthcare operations management.
    • Previous leadership experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility.

    Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

    • Knowledge of tribal, federal, and state healthcare regulations, including HHS, HIPAA, Client, and accreditation standards.
    • Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and financial management.
    • Experience with quality improvement initiatives and regulatory reporting.
    • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to work effectively with executive leadership, staff, residents, and families.
    • Strong organizational and decision-making abilities in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
