Pay Rate: Up to $25.00 per hour
Summary:
Location: Fremont, CA
Duration: 6 Months
Responsibilities:
Maintain high performance for departmental standards including safety, timeliness, quality/accuracy, security, and productivity.
Receive shipments, transfer materials to and from storage locations, and package and palletize products.
Work proactively on multiple tasks with autonomy.
Operate a forklift to load and unload carrier trucks.
Load and unload sea containers in line with IMO, IMDG, and Customs requirements.
Prepare cylinders for shipments, ensuring compliance with D.O.T requirements.
Perform shipping and receiving related ERP transactions.
Maintain inventory control records and conduct inventory cycle counts.
Participate in monthly safety meetings and promote a safe work environment.
Comply with all company safety policies and OSHA and MSDS standards.
Assist in maintaining the security of the warehouse.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED.
Minimum 3 years of relevant industry experience in logistics operations.
Must be certified to drive a forklift.
Strong customer service orientation.
Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Experience in filing IMO, AES, and ISF.
Computer literate with experience using Microsoft Office and Google Docs.
Knowledge of 49 CFR, 15 CFR, DOT, IATA, and IMDG regulations.
