    Objective of job:

    This role is responsible for supervising logistics personnel, ensuring delivery performance, maintaining compliance with logistics processes, and driving continuous improvement initiatives that support safety, quality, and operational excellence.

    Principal Activities:

    • Lead daily inbound receiving, warehousing, inventory management, material flow, and outbound logistics operations.
    • Ensure on-time delivery performance for internal and external customers.
    • Monitor, analyze, and report Logistics KPI metrics.
    • Develop and implement logistics systems, standardized work, procedures, and training programs.
    • Support plant strategy, new launches, and development projects as required.
    • Lead, coach, train, motivate, and evaluate logistics team members.
    • Manage staffing, personnel assignments, and shift planning to support operational requirements.
    • Take corrective and disciplinary action as needed in accordance with company policies.
    • Ensure efficient use of labor, equipment, machinery, and materials to meet performance targets.
    • Identify and implement process, equipment, and system improvements.
    • Respond effectively to operational disruptions, bottlenecks, and changing business needs.
    • Ensure compliance with all DRÄXLMAIER and customer-required processes and procedures.
    • Promote and support company initiatives including Safety, Quality, Continuous Improvement, Training, 5S, Human Resources, and Environmental programs.
    • Maintain compliance with all safety, health, and environmental regulations.
    • Partner with Production, Supply Chain, Quality, and other departments to achieve business objectives.
    • Support large-scale company initiatives and cross-functional projects as needed.

    Required Qualifications

    • Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field; equivalent experience will be considered.
    • 3-5 years of manufacturing logistics experience in warehousing, material flow, inventory control, shipping/receiving, or supply chain operations.
    • 3-5 years of leadership experience managing teams in a manufacturing or logistics environment.
    • Strong knowledge of inventory management, warehouse operations, material flow, and production support.
    • Experience with ERP/WMS systems and Microsoft Office applications.
    • Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Automotive manufacturing experience.
    • Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems.
    • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, or Six Sigma methodologies.
    • Experience with Just-in-Time (JIT) and automotive supply chain operations.
