Job Description
The Logistics Specialist supports end‑to‑end ocean container movements across 2 ports, serving as a key point of coordination between port terminals, terminal points of contact, and contracted carriers. This role oversees container tracking through a relay‑based logistics program that leverages small, time‑based trucking partners—similar to an Uber model for freight—using algorithm‑driven load pricing to move containers efficiently between locations. Responsibilities include managing each leg of container movement, from out‑gating at the port, transport to off‑dock yards, delivery to fulfillment centers, and returning empty containers back to terminals for reloading. The ideal candidate brings a strong bias for action, thrives in a fast‑paced operational environment, and has prior logistics, transportation, or operational training, particularly in roles where they were responsible for fixing process gaps or driving operational improvements.
We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
