Logistics Specialist - Santa Ana, CA - Contract - $29-39 Per HR
The role involves coordinating and expediting the flow of work and materials within or between departments according to production schedules. Based in Santa Ana, CA, this is a 6-month contract position. Key responsibilities include reviewing schedules, managing vendor interactions, and ensuring quality assurance using general office software.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and approve documents, materials, and products to ensure accuracy and adherence to standards.
- Confer with department supervisors to assess progress and discuss necessary changes.
- Revise production schedules due to design changes, labor or material shortages, or other interruptions.
- Distribute production schedules and work orders to departments.
- Coordinate production and shipping activities with personnel, vendors, and customers to resolve complaints or eliminate delays.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 8-10 years of related experience required.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to analyze costs related to manufacturing, labor, and materials.
- Experience with general office software like word processors and spreadsheets.
