Position: Logistics Specialist I
Location: 7100 Riverport Dr, Louisville, KY 40258
Contract Duration: 6 Months (Potential for Extension or Full-Time Conversion)
Pay Rate: $20.00/hour (W2)

Work Schedule:- Monday – Thursday: 7:30 AM – 6:30 PM (1-hour lunch)
- Overtime available based on business needs (average 40–45 hours/week)

Logistics Specialist I to support warehouse and distribution operations in a cGMP-regulated environment. This role is responsible for receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping marketed products while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities- Accurately pick, pack, and prepare marketed products for shipment.
- Receive, store, and issue materials in accordance with cGMP guidelines.
- Operate material handling equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, walkie riders, and turret trucks.
- Safely move products and non-GMP supplies throughout the warehouse.
- Perform inventory counts and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and safety checks.
- Enter and maintain data accurately using SAP and other business systems.
- Maintain organized documentation in accordance with company record retention policies.
- Support departmental improvement projects by gathering data, analyzing processes, documenting procedures, and communicating findings.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
QualificationsRequired:- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 5–6 years of relevant warehouse, logistics, inventory, manufacturing, or distribution experience.
- Ability to follow detailed written and verbal instructions.
- Basic math and problem-solving skills.
- Experience using Microsoft Office and business systems such as SAP.
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, holidays, or alternate shifts when needed.
Preferred:- Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Physical Sciences, or a related field.
- Experience in biotechnology, pharmaceutical manufacturing, or inventory management within a regulated environment.
Physical Requirements- Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 40 pounds on a regular basis.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.
- Willingness to work overtime as business needs require.
- Consistently follow all safety procedures and use required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Commitment to maintaining a safe and compliant work environment.
