    Description

    We are seeking a motivated and organized Logistics Specialist to join our client’s growing team located in Greenville, SC. If you enjoy keeping operations running smoothly, managing inventory, coordinating shipments, and working in a fast-paced industrial environment, we'd love to hear from you.Responsibilities
    • Manage inventory, including parts, materials, shop supplies, and tools.
    • Receive, inspect, and organize incoming shipments.
    • Prepare and process outgoing shipments, including customer orders and vendor returns.
    • Coordinate shipping and receiving activities while maintaining accurate inventory records.
    • Build crates and skids as needed for freight shipments.
    • Safely operate forklifts and use a variety of power tools.
    • Communicate professionally and effectively with vendors, suppliers, freight carriers, and customers.
    • Research vendors and source parts using internet-based resources.
    • Maintain an organized warehouse and work area to promote efficiency and safety.
    • Work in both hot and cold plant conditions as required.
    • Follow all company safety policies and procedures while maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
    Requirements
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
    • Strong computer skills and the ability to learn inventory and shipping software.
    • Ability to use the internet to locate vendors, products, and replacement parts.
    • Valid driver's license.
    • Forklift training or the ability to become forklift certified.
    • Positive attitude, dependability, and a strong work ethic.
    • Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing business needs.
    • Previous experience in shipping and receiving, warehouse operations, inventory control, or logistics.
    • Experience operating forklifts in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
    • Familiarity with freight shipping procedures, carriers, and inventory management systems.
    • Experience using power tools and building shipping crates or skids.
