Salary Range: $22.00 per hour / Full Time
NOTE:The hourly rate is a fixed entry rate for this position and applies to all new hires. While our system may display a pay range, this role’s starting rate is non-negotiable. Future pay increases are determined by performance, growth, and time in role, in accordance with our compensation policy.
As a member of the Logistics and Operations team at Wayfair, you play a critical role in maintaining the accuracy, organization, and integrity of inventory within the store and warehouse environment. You ensure products are received, tracked, stored, and processed correctly to support a seamless customer and operational experience. Through daily audits, cycle counts, shipment processing, and system monitoring, you help protect inventory accuracy while supporting efficient product flow throughout the building.
This role requires strong attention to detail, accountability, and a proactive mindset. You will work retail and visual merchandising teams to identify discrepancies, resolve issues, and improve operational processes. Whether handling inbound deliveries, performing audits, or troubleshooting inventory exceptions, you help ensure the right products are in the right place at the right time.

Monitor inventory discrepancies to ensure system and physical inventory alignment.
Label all inventory accurately.
Manage Inventory Performance: Monitor aging inventory, process markdowns, and coordinate vendor returns for recalls.
Receive and Process Shipments: Unload and receive inventory carefully, including manual handling of large and heavy items.
Accurately document overages, shortages, damages, and inventory exceptions during receiving and processing activities.
Support efficient inventory flow between the stockroom, and sales floor operations.
Process incoming shipping to ensure accuracy
Use ticketing systems to manage operational exceptions and support issue resolution.
Identify trends, process gaps, and opportunities for operational improvements based on frontline observations.
Collaborate closely with logistics leaders, retail teams, and operational partners to streamline processes and maintain Wayfair’s operational standards.
Adapt quickly to changing business needs and take ownership of inventory-related challenges in a fast-moving environment.
Support store operations as needed, including replenishment, organization, and back-of-house tasks.
Demonstrate reliability by maintaining punctual attendance and proactively communicating operational concerns or unexpected issues.
