    Logistics Specialist

    The Opportunity: 

    With all the information available today, it takes a skilled logistics professional to navigate complex processes and deliver cost-effective solutions. With the critical decisions made in our defense operations every day, we need a Logistics Specialist like you to do just that.

    Identify, track, and control government and contractor acquired property and maintain inventory records. Manage the invoice, receipt, acceptance, transfer, and disposition of assets in accordance with applicable government regulations using current technology and Government directed procurement and property systems. Demonstrate initiative and effective follow-though. Apply expertise in configuration management, life cycle support, document control, database management, and logistics engineering for hardware. Maintain receivables and protection of goods and collaborate with Government Furnished Property (GFP) staff and the receiving manager to ensure the efficient and effective movement of Government Furnished Equipment (GFE), GFP and Contractor Acquired Property. Maintain responsibility for assembling data and updating and maintaining up-to-date inventory of all GFP, CAP and GFE. Perform tasks including supply, warehousing, and storage support for all items procured on the contract.

    You Have:

    • 7+ years of experience providing logistics or property accountability support for Federal or DoW programs

    • Experience managing material tracking, serialized equipment, and inventory control in multi‑site environments

    • Experience in using Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook

    • Experience handling government documents, including DD250s and DD1149s

    • Experience with Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE) suite and its Invoice, Receipt, Acceptance, and Property Transfer (iRAPT) system

    • Knowledge of equipment and property management tools or systems and logistics and procurement systems such as AssetSmart, Costpoint and Ivalua

    • Ability to multitask, pay strict attention to detail, and rapidly implement asset management, scanning, and tracking technology

    • Ability to move 50lbs

    • Secret clearance

    • HS diploma or GED

    Nice If You Have:

    • Experience with Logistics and Asset Procurement and Inventory Control

    • Knowledge of FMS property management processes

    • Ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders and work independently

    • Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

    • Bachelor's degree

    • Certified Federal Contracts Manager (CFCM) or Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) Certification

    Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,900.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
