Akkodis is seeking a Logistics Operator for a Contract job with a client in Henrietta, NY. The ideal candidate will have experience in shipping, receiving, inventory management, logistics operations, and export compliance, along with strong organizational and communication skills.
Rate Range: $19/hour to $23/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Logistics Operator Job Responsibilities Include:
Receive raw materials and inventory into the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system while ensuring material accuracy and inventory integrity throughout the manufacturing process.
Prepare, package, label, and coordinate shipments of finished goods in accordance with company standards, customer requirements, and established delivery schedules.
Generate and process shipping documentation, including packing lists, bills of lading, shipping labels, and transportation records to support efficient shipment execution.
Prepare and submit export documentation through the Automated Commercial Environment (ACE) system while ensuring compliance with applicable export regulations and reporting requirements.
Verify shipment accuracy by reviewing part numbers, quantities, documentation, and packaging requirements before releasing materials for shipment.
Desired Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent with a minimum of two to three years of experience in logistics, shipping, receiving, warehouse operations, inventory control, or manufacturing support.
Experience working with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and inventory management processes within manufacturing or distribution environments.
Strong knowledge of shipping and logistics procedures, including outbound transportation coordination, shipping documentation, and carrier management activities.
Proficiency utilizing Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and related business productivity tools.
Demonstrated ability to read, interpret, and follow written instructions, procedures, and documentation while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience utilizing SAP ByDesign or similar ERP solutions to support inventory transactions, shipping activities, and material management processes.
Experience preparing export documentation and filing transactions through Automated Commercial Environment (ACE) or Automated Export System (AES) platforms.
Familiarity with FedEx, UPS, or other carrier software applications used for shipment processing and transportation management.
Experience supporting manufacturing, production, aerospace, industrial, or advanced technology environments.

Pay Details: $19.00 to $23.00 per hour
