Logistics Operations Manager
We are seeking a hands-on leader to oversee daily operations, and ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
Responsibilities - Logistics Operations Manager
- Lead the day-to-day operations of the terminal, including freight receiving, loading, unloading, staging, dispatch, and delivery coordination.
- Supervise and provide direction to a team of approximately five drivers responsible for transporting and handling freight.
- Coordinate employee schedules, monitor attendance, and manage daily staffing needs.
- Promote efficient operations while maintaining high standards of productivity and customer service.
- Track operational performance and identify opportunities to improve processes and efficiency.
- Work closely with departments such as Human Resources, Safety, Finance, Customer Service, and Sales to support overall business operations.
- Ensures safety and compliance with FMCSA, DOT, OSHA
- Adheres to company policies and procedures
- Demonstrated leadership and operational management skills
- Strong critical thinking and decision making abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Outlook, Word, and Teams
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage daily operations with minimal supervision

Requirements
- Minimum of 1+ year of related experience in terminal operations, warehousing, transportation, or a related field.
- High School Diploma or GED (equivalent)
- Ability to pass a background and drug screening
