Logistics Manager

In this hands-on position, you’ll manage daily warehouse functions—shipping, receiving, inventory control, and pre-production staging—while collaborating with internal teams and external partners to meet and exceed delivery expectations. JSG is seeking a dynamic Logistics Manager to oversee our clients Plymouth, Indiana facility.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead a key part of our supply chain, ensuring smooth inbound and outbound logistics, fostering continuous improvement, and supporting our commitment to food safety and quality. You'll work alongside a dedicated team to optimize warehouse operations and develop innovative solutions that drive efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
In this hands-on position, you’ll manage daily warehouse functions—shipping, receiving, inventory control, and pre-production staging—while collaborating with internal teams and external partners to meet and exceed delivery expectations. You will lead, coach, and develop warehouse staff, implement process improvements, and help maintain high safety and quality standards.

Pay $90K to $105K

What You’ll Do:

• Lead daily warehouse and logistics operations, including shipping, receiving, and inventory management.
• Coordinate transportation and deliver on-time, in-full delivery to customers.
• Partner with production, quality, and customer service teams to meet/exceed expectations.
• Oversee raw materials and finished goods staging, inventory count, and reconciliation.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives, reducing costs and increasing efficiencies.
• Ensure food safety and safety practices are consistently followed, fostering a positive safety culture.
• Manage team performance through coaching, development, and performance reviews.
• Use systems like SAP to track and manage materials, ensuring accuracy and organization.

Must-Have Qualifications:

• 3-5 years experience managing warehouse operations with a focus on inventory control.
• 1-3 years’ experience in food manufacturing.
• 1-2 years’ inbound/outbound logistics experience.
• Proven ability to manage personnel, develop teams, and lead process improvements.
• Ability to communicate effectively across all levels and with external partners.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Lean/Six Sigma experience.
• Familiarity with SAP or similar ERP systems.
• Experience working in high-stress or complex environments.
