Help

Experience and detailed knowledge applicable to FAA Logistics Program to plan and accomplish assignments. Typical assignments may include collecting and analyzing data/information; conducting research; applying policies and procedures; identifying problems; and working with higher-level and lower-level professionals in day-to-day operations administering and performing personal property activities.

Ensure Property Custodians and Delegates are current, Update AITS (Automated Inventory Tracking System), Record/transfer and excess personal property transactions, e.g. ROEs and ROSs (Reports of Excess and Survey). Assist with property inventories as requested, MDT (Maintenance Data Terminal) excess oversight and provide National Wireless Program assistance.

Performs real property activities as requested. Record/transfer and excess real property transactions to ensure commissioning and decommissioning documentation is completed. Update real property inventory database. Prepare procurement requests for leases as necessary. Interface with real estate and utilities as required.

Administers purchasing, procurement, and acquisition activities as requested. Prepare procurement requests for supplies, services and construction projects. Prepare Statement of Work (SOW) (depending on scope and complexity) or locating POC (Point of Contact)/Engineer. Independent Government Cost Estimate (IGCE) preparation or locating POC/Engineer. Provide purchasing guidance to District personnel credit card holders.

Provide assistance with PRISM and PCard module, tracking Purchase Requests/Orders as necessary, utilize purchase card to support assigned areas, update on-line banking system and reconcile monthly bank statements; Ensure payments for services are rendered; Interface with Acquisition group as necessary. Assist with ordering and calibration of Test Equipment. Administer convenience checks as necessary.

Demonstrates some independence in planning time and using assigned resources to accomplish tasks or small projects. Administers the Store Credit Program as requested. Prepare monthly store credit report from LCSS when report feature becomes available; Track E&R (Exchange & Return) delinquencies, alert management to impending purges when report function becomes available. Assist District personnel with requisitioning Logistics Center items. Provides oversight and assistance with the Field Spares Inventory System. Administers the Government Vehicle Program as requests. Prepares the GOV Report and assist with MVS-2000 and assist District personnel with vehicle accident documents. Also, provides general logistics program support in geographic area of responsibility and other duties as assigned.

Contacts are primarily internal to the organizational unit, major subdivision, or LOB/SO with a manager and other employees to share information. Provide data and/or written analyses and explain the statutes of assignments. May have frequent contacts with customers and other external parties on routine mattes such as gathering information, explaining regulations, and discussing the customers¿ situations. Established policies/procedures provide guidance for most assignments but allow some discretion for employee to select the most appropriate approach(es).

Typically receives guidance on selecting approaches from a manager or more experienced professional. Refers problems and work issues to manager or more experienced professional when guidelines are not available or applicable. Work Typically is reviewed frequently during assignments and at completion to ensure timeliness, policy compliance, and alignment with the requirements of projects and/or other work activities. Work activities typically support activities of the organizational unit and may affect project/program objectives for the major subdivision and LOB/SO. The work may affect internal and external customers.

Qualifications

To qualify at the FV-G (FG-10/11) level, you must demonstrate in your application that you possess 52 weeks of Specialized Experience equivalent to the FV-F (FG/GS 5-9) level. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position.

Specialized Experience: Experience with inventory control regulations and policies; experience recording and tracking inventory activity and needs; experience selecting alternative source of supply; and coordination and control on inventory items.

OR

Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree; 3 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree; or LL.M., if related, from an accredited college or university.

OR

Combination of education and experience may be qualifying for this position.
