As a Logistics & Customer Service Representative, you'll coordinate customer orders and shipment logistics for bentonite and related products while delivering exceptional customer service. Working closely with customers, transportation partners, and internal teams, you'll ensure orders are processed accurately, delivered on time, and supported by proactive communication and effective problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a primary point of contact for customers, providing timely updates and exceptional service throughout the order process.
- Coordinate customer orders for bentonite and related products, ensuring accurate processing from order entry through delivery.
- Communicate with customers regarding order status, shipments, and delivery schedules.
- Work closely with sales representatives to provide information on product availability, transportation capacity, and delivery schedules.
- Coordinate shipments with carriers, brokers, and vendors to ensure efficient scheduling and accurate documentation.
- Monitor order and shipment status, proactively communicating delays, changes, or other updates to customers and internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate with operations, sales, logistics, and other internal teams to resolve order issues and support on-time delivery.
- Maintain accurate customer, order, and shipment information within company systems.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and customer experience.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Knowledge of customer order management processes, including order entry, fulfillment, and post-delivery support preferred.
- Proficient in standard office software (Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word).
- Experience using ERP, distribution, or order management systems, or the ability to quickly learn new software

Work Environment & Physical Requirements
- Primarily office-based with regular computer use.
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, and occasionally lift up to 15 pounds.
- Infrequent travel may be required
