Position Summary
This is a 100% onsite position - The Logistics Coordinator manages inbound and outbound freight for Paladin Envirotech's recycling and ITAD business units, keeping shipments, documentation, and local pickups accurate and on schedule while working closely with our drivers, 3PL Carriers, Operations Manager, and Shipping & Receiving team.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Own all pickup requests end-to-end, serving as the primary point of contact for internal teams and external customers, providing proactive, accurate status updates from request through completion.
- Communicate daily with Operations and Sales on inbound/outbound shipments; manage Bills of Lading (BOLs), review them for accuracy, and save them in the system of record.
- Verify that all inbound and sales orders in Joodra and SharePoint include required documentation — photos, trailer/container number, seal number, and booking number (when applicable).
- Manage the inbound pickup calendar, working side-by-side with the in-house driver and Operations Manager to schedule and execute local pickups.
- Book and coordinate FTL/LTL loads with our 3PL carrier nationwide; track and trace shipments from pickup through delivery and communicate delays or exceptions.
- Audit carrier invoices against contracted rates and shipment documentation before approval, resolving billing discrepancies to protect freight spend accuracy.
- Partner with the Shipping & Receiving team to resolve discrepancies, damages, or load concerns. •Help maintain DOT compliance and coordinate PM service
- Maintain daily trackers for shipments, pickups, and deliveries to keep the team current on status.
- Own the sales order closeout process — delivering signed BOLs, invoices, and photos to customers and reconciling incoming payments against the system
- Support weekly/monthly reporting on shipment volume, on-time performance, and documentation accuracy.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in logistics coordination, shipping/receiving, warehouse operations, or transportation.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and comfortable learning multiple systems (Joodra, SharePoint, WMS/TMS).
- Working knowledge of DOT regulations; ITAD/e-waste/reverse logistics experience a plus.
- Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced facility.
Background Screening
Candidates selected for employment will be required to successfully complete a pre-employment background screening, which may include employment verification and criminal history screening, consistent with applicable federal, state, and local laws. Employment is contingent upon successful completion of the required screening.
Compensation
Salary Range: $60,000 - $65,000 annually
